1998 E-320 4matic wagon.
Misfire codes on Cylinders 1,2,and 3 (all on the right bank of the engine). Could their be a common cause other than the individual coils or individual fuel injectors. It also codes low efficency on left and right Catalytic Converter (codes 422, 432). I'd prefer not to change the catalysts, but if the right catalyst is a real problem (ie blocked) and must be changed how could i determine that.

Hi last minute, it sounds like bad catalysts. Try removing your front oxygen sensor to relieve back pressure, erase your faults and see if they come back. Water in the fuel rail, low fuel pressure and a bad mass air flow sensor can also cause problems on one bank only. Let me know what you find.
