My name is***** story is a bit delicate and I am trying to find answers as to what my next steps should be. Long story short I moved into a house with another woman and the landlady. While the lanlady was away for almost 2 months me and my roomate got close. In the beginning she seemed very private, quiet, friendly and respectful but one day out of the blue she started to open up to me with these scary stories from her past in which her mom and other people tried to kill her and putting her in the psychiatric hospital. She hated her mom for sending mental health teams to take her out of her apartment. I thought that was a bit off but i didn't want to judge and i offered her comfort and a shoulder to cry on because I felt honoured that she opened up to me and also who was I to judge? As we got closer and we had some dinners and celebrations during the holidays together she started to become a completely different person than who she appeared to be before. She would have a very unstable behavior, acting erratically, talking all the time over everyone in the room jumping from topic to topic in an illogical way, leaving the front door wide open while she wasn't home, bursting into songs in a middle of a conversation or singing loudly on the streets at 5 am in the morning, knocking at my door in the dead of night 3 weeks before Christmas saying ''that it is Christmas time", screaming when I expected the least....I chose to ignore the signs and be there for her until it became too much and I left the house to stay with my partner while I was looking for a new place to stay. I locked my door when i left the house but a few days later I heard from the neighbours and the landlady that her state became worse and worse and in 3 days after I left she was walking up and down the street in her socks with a blanket on her asking for help and telling everyone that she has a mental illness and that she needs help...She also knocked at our neighbours doors several times in the dead of night telling them that there is someone in the house trying to kill her. When they went in the house nobody was there but the whole house was trashed...tossed...my room together with the landlady s room although previously locked where trashed and our belongings scattered around the house. One day later neighbours saw fire coming out from my room. We went there and the house is a hell scene..... … read more
