The woman has been abused by this man and developed dependence on the man and so she does whatever he wants her to do and goes wherever he wants her to go and says whatever he wants her to say. How would she feel or what would happen to her if this man suddenly leaves her and tells her not to contact him any more?

Dr. Julia and only Dr. Julia please …..I went to a clothing store with my girls and I turned around and saw men’s underwear on a mannequin.. I felt like throwing up and I knew I was getting triggered .I looked away but I did remind myself that it wasn’t my abusive ex spouse .. it just remind me of it.. like my subconscious remembered
Parts of my blocked memory .I abhore his boxers .. and what they represent as he sexually abused me.I recalled in my memory when he came in nonchalantly and starting undressing and decided to shower and I told him noHe had to start making appointments to come in when I would be around and take showers somewhere else.. as I didn’t feel safe .When I see sexual items he was getting into , they disgust me and I just want to throw up.Will my mind keep on remembering things from time to time? I feel that I have shed so many tears , with through my major trauma and yet some things still pop up.I wish I could forget him for good but my mind is still processing and my heart hurts so much .

Was wondering to what counselling i should go.
Me and my ex wife wanna go and do some therapy or counselling and its not for the reason to try and get back together but more for our son reason is affecting him more then we thought.
I told my ex wife we should have some sort of relationship to show our son that we can still be friends and co parent but we cant do that unless we get some professional help, she is being bias towards me and doesnt see that and thats affecting us to have a relationship for our sons sake just want to know to wich counselling or therapist we should go?
