I've been feeling detached from my emotions for the last 2-3 years. I have emotions, my body reacts to my them (crying, chest tightness etc), but inside my mind there'a almost always an emotional void. My thoughts are completely disconnected to my emotions. This makes socialising incredibly difficult, I've become an expert at intentionally conveying emotion with my face when I feel nothing inside. I don't think it's depression, my emotions aren't numb, just separate from my thoughts.
I'm wondering what might be going on?
