I'm having irrational intrusive thoughts I know THEYRE not

Customer Question

I'm having irrational intrusive thoughts I know THEYRE not true but sometimes when my anxiety is high it becomes harder for me to fight them. I try not to think about the thoughts and distract myself it works for awhile but then they come right back. I'm worried that I'll become schizophrenic, and to make matters worse im starting to have automatic thoughts and songs play over and over again in my head but after my anxiety calms down it goes away. I also have episodes of derealization. As well as existential crisis. I'm worried I don't hear voices or hallucinate and I don't believe anyone is out to harm me. But I'm very worried I need some clarity on what's going on.

Does this sound like schizophrenia?

No way to say.

You need a full exam and testing.

It could be OCD more than skizophrenia.

See the list above.
