Customer Question

Okay for 10 years I have been suffering from anxiety and depression. I have tried two kinds of medications and they help for a short time but then they seem to stop helping me. My main issue is that my anxiety is causing me to frequently feel like I have to poop when I go out anywhere. It is putting a strain on my marriage and my relationships with the rest of my family and friends. I feel like I will never get any help. I have a really hard time going anywhere because I am afraid I might poop my pants and I would be really embarrassed. I just want to be normal again. Is that even possible? What should I try doing so I don't have to deal with the pain (physical and emotional) and be able to travel with my family again?

there are many medications, and many newer medications.

If your current medications are not working, you should be seeing a psychiatrist.

This doctor is a specialist in tailoring a medication to you.

You should also have cognitive behavioral therapy, with a clinical therapist [phd psychologist].

The combination is more powerful than medication alone.
