My father lives in assisted living and refuses to take his medication, won't eat or shower I need advice on best way to handle this dilemma?

The best course is to figure out why he is doing this.

If this is dementia, alot of it can be associated with depression and anxiety

I recommend getting him in with a geriatric psychiatrist

Alot of times, meds like zoloft can help a lot
