im 15 years old and i lived in northern alberta and my parents sent me down south with my moms best friend in april. My parents sent me away because i was kicked out of school and i smoked marijuana. My fat her told me i was causing problems in his and my mothers marriage so i had to be sent away so their marriage did not get worse but i don't understand how it was my fault. When i arrived here the first 2 weeks were going well tell the land lord kicked us out and we are now living with our neighbor. My moms best friend is telling my mother lies about me when i've been nothing but good and well mannered so then my mother does not take me back and my mother does not stop sending money to her. My mothers best friend Trina is always going to see these guys she meets and bringing some of them here to the house to sleep with, she does not feed me very often so Susan the neighbor has been buying me food and Trina spends my mothers money on her and her nine year old daughter. Ive talked to my mother a few days ago about going back but i did not go very well mostly cause Trina told my mother i was not a virgin anymore instead of letting me tell her and im worrying about the other things Trina has told her. Im finding it hard to get off the couch (where i sleep) and i dont ever really wanna eat anything, if it wasn't for Susan i wouldn't eat at all. I have a friend coming down where i am and i've been thinking about going back with her and staying at a stepping stones or with my best friend. I don't know what i should do and i think i need help.

Dear friend,

Elliott, LPCC, NCC :

I believe that I can help. Your parents are neglecting you and endangering you by putting you in a situation with an irresponsible person and not taking care of you themselves.

Elliott, LPCC, NCC :

What your parents are doing to you is irresponsible and harmful and is against the law. You must get help locally.

Elliott, LPCC, NCC :

You are being endangered and you can and should get help right away.
