Are you unable to see someone because they're telling you that they're booked?

Dr. Rossi :

If you have insurance, you may phone them and ask for an assistance w/ urgent care appointment. The case manager in the behavioral health dept. has to assist in finding one for you.

just getting thru , u have to leave messages everything in confidential. no calls back. im between coverage right now so id be paying cash

Dr. Rossi :

You could even ask to speak to a suprvisor in that dept. Generally the insurance has to accomodate a client in need.

If you're calling private providers, you may decide to show up at your local community mental health setting. They usually serve individuals w/o insurance. At these agencies, you can work both w/ a psychiatrist and a counselor. To find the one near you, you may phone the United Way toll free #211 dialed from a land line or google community mental health and your area of residence/state. Some of these agencies also may have a mobile clinician who can see you at home.
