Well you have experienced quite a lot of distress and pain in your marriage due to your husband's infidelity and the harrassment by his ex-lover. Have you and your husband gotten any help,like couples counseling? You are obviously in pain and if you choose to work on your relationship, then counseling will be helpful. It is not selfish to leave a relationship, so do not let him guilt you into staying if you think it is in your best interest to leave. However, if you truly love him and would like to work on it or come to a decision whether to stay or leave, counseling can benefit you.

Well, I wonder what that was. Perhaps something that was perceived as confrontational to him? Do you think you want to try again with another counselor?

she just asked him how would he feel if i was the one who cheated on him and had kids. at this point i think the best thing for me to do is leave because before i had to deal with the cheating now i have to deal with the fact that there is kids involed and he has to be a part of those kids life. the problem i have is the fact that he just does not realize how badly he has hurt me.

Yes. It sounds like he is not taking responsibility for what he has done. He should be fighting for you and his marriage if that is what he wants. Possibly by separating it may show that you are serious and are not going to take the drama this other woman is creating. I think letting him know specifically how he has hurt you and what you expect of him may be helpful. But yes, if you are in this much pain and he is not doing anything to try and alleviate it, then it may be best to leave if that is how you are feeling. Possibly you may change your mind later if he shows any tendency toward change in the positive. I wish you all the best.
