VerifiedIt sounds like your boss does not take conflict well so she masks this by being nice until you have a difference of opinion. There are people who just don't like any sort of conflict even when it can be worked out. It is also possible that she is somewhat controlling and you took this to the next level which made her angry. It's hard to say but the bot***** *****ne is she doesn't like to be second guessed. Some people in authority type positions just don't like to be asked to consider another person's opinion.
I would continue to be nice and you may win her over. She may just be mad for the time being and can be gradually eased back into being friendly. Some people have very short attention spans for maintaining their negative moods. If you are nice she sees that you don't have anything against her and you haven't let it ruin your opinion of her or your job. Kindness is best here because anything else could lead to a power struggle.
