There are several ways you can approach this, you can contact your insurance provider and request a list of in network therapists and then do some research on the names you've been given.

Your husband could also utilize the EAP (Employee Assistance Program) if his place of employment has one as they provide counseling services.

He should look for an individual therapist that is familiar with family work as well as individual therapy.

This could be a LCSW

A psychiatrist who also does talk/psychotherapy (although this may be harder to find)

A psychologist

Once you've gotten a list of providers from you insurance company, if you research them, most often, they will share what type of therapy/counseling they specialize in and that may help to narrow it down.

I think that supporting him is the best that you can do, what you're doing right now is awesome but you can't fix what he has going on and often times when we see our loved ones hurting, we want to "fix it" for them but that's not it.

If you're able to take a step back and allow him some space but just as you're doing now, try to help him work some things out so that he can continue to work through whatever it is that he's going through and him just knowing that you are there to support him will speak volumes.

You're right, and it oftentimes gets much worse before it gets better but if the both of you are committed to trying to do your best to work through things then the light at the end of the tunnel doesn't seem so dim.

I think once he's able to work through some of his interpersonal matters, he can think more clearly about your marriage and what that means to him.
