Is smelling burning rubber a symptom of a brain tumour ? my ex wife who`s been diognosed with D-I-D and PTSD claimed to smell burning rubber 3 times over a 2 week period last year ,when the rubber smell symptom was a story line on a romantic comedy drama tv program at the same time she claimed to smell rubber .

This is a very interesting question that most would probably dismiss.

It is true that research has indicated that people found to have brain tumors have reported have a strange smell like rubber. This has been verified in a number of studies. See attached:

I certainly would not dismiss this and encourage your ex wife to see a Neurologist for further evaluation.
