What are the pros and cons of the Hippocrates Health

I am in Colorado and have no personal experience with this institute. But I see that it is a natural healing facility, meaning that it is based on herbal and naturopathic remedies and nutritional supplements and natural foods.

Your question is what are the pros and cons? I am a psychologist and I believe clinically there are many more pros than cons. Let me start and end with the cons so they don't get lost.

The first con is that natural healing can often sweep a person up into an enthusiasm that might make you forget to check in with and follow the medical professionals' advice and requirements. That's a big con if you fall into that trap of it's either natural or medical. I urge you to treat them as complementary approaches for yourself as much as possible. Don't give over all your treatment options to one or the other approach.

The second con is that none of the claims made by the natural approach are subject to the same scrutiny and requirements for proof as the medical approach. Don't belittle this lacking. It is sometimes very costly for very little benefit. Medical approaches can sometimes also be costly with little improvement but not nearly as often. So, again, the best way is not to give over all your hope into one basket.

The third con is then the cost.
