Welcome to Just Answer.

There actually has been some research on this particular question. The overwhelming results on this, has been that there is no correlation between the menstrual cycle and mood swings associated with bipolar disorder. The thought surrounding this, was to look at hormonal changes and to see if it had an effect on either depressive or manic symptoms associated with bipolar. But, there are 2 studies that I thought would be interesting for you to read, about this particular question.
