Customer Question

I have an employee at work that is male and 48 years old. He lives alone with his parents, no children, never married. he has always had a temper until about 2 years ago. He has been showing mental health issues and will start crying over anything sad. I have seen a changes such as weight loss, head down when walking around and very emotional. He is being treated by a professional but my question, since I am his manager, what is the best way to handle him?

Sympathy and patience is about it. If he does have an illness in the depression spectrum, any attempt tp pressure him would have negative consequences both for him and his work. Just be a ssupportive as you can.
