Hello Mam,

I do appreciate the fact that you are not in favor of self medication which is observed in some patients very frequently. Alprazolam is itself having muscle relaxant property but
Muscle relaxant are sometime used with alprazolam when needed and should be taken only after they are prescribed by a doctor because there is a risk of over sedation in addition to other side effects depending on patient to patients.

"Combining Alprazolam with Skeletal muscle relaxants such as Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine), Skelaxin (metaxalone), Soma (carisoprodol), or Robaxin (methocarbamol) may cause over sedation in combination with this medication."
Drug Interaction

Therefore only your treating doctor is able to tell which muscle relaxant could be useful to you and in what doses.

I hope this helps.
