Customer Question

i don't seem to trust people who demonstrate caring or affection for me. i enjoy it while it's happening but without fail by the next day i am certain that their feelings have changed. with people who are just casual acquaintances i don't have this fear. and with people who are long time friends (6 years or more) i don't worry (constantly). with the people who have come into my life in the last few months or year though i feel anxiety about the relationships regularly. this anxiety is particularly acute in romantic relationships. i have been working on these feelings for a while now and have made much headway. i thought i had it under control but a recent relationship has been causing me distress. in the past my anxiety was justified, but i have been consciously choosing better people. how can i learn to trust in the validity of this friendship?- i feel like the relationship needs to be explained, but im out of characters.
