Resolved Question:

as explained earlier my mum in law cannot remember names of close family she seems to go through everybodies name till she gets to the right one. She repeats many stories over and over everytime we visit. She is 68yrs old. Her own mother had dementia before she died (not recognising anyone, and was sometimes abrubt and violent). Mum is overweight and is a heavy smoker and also has an under active thyroid. During conversation she admits being concerned about dementia developing.
