definitely for some people. Hormones change during the menstural cycle and can created strong emotions such as irritablility, emotional outbursts, crying, sadness,etc. These would be experienced usually a little before and during the cycle. Does this help? Gina

WHAT SCIENTIFIC PROOF IS THERE THAT THE BODY CAN CHEMICALLY CHANGE AN CAUSE A CHANGE IN MOOD IN REGARDS ***** ***** MENSTRUAL CYCLE..I TOOK AN AVANCED PSYCHOLOGY COURSE IN HIGHSCHOOL AND IN THE TEXTBOOK..IT WAS DOCUMENTED THAT THROUGH A CORRELATONAL STUDY..THE RESULTS SHOWED THAT MOOD IS NOT AFFECTED BY THE MENSTRUAL CYCLE AND THAT MANY WOMEN STAY EXACTLY THE SAME ON OR OFF THE CYCLE..IT WAS JUST THE HYPE THAT "FEMALES ARE MORE MOODY OR PMS'ING" WHEN THEY ARE ON THIER CYCLE...
