Do you mean lorazepam? Lorazepam is a benzodiazepine medication which is usually used to treat anxiety, panic, or sleep. It can be habit forming so should be taken only as prescribed.

Out of curiosity...where are you seeing this word written? Is it on a pill bottle? Is it prescription? Do you know what he's taking it for?
I've searched and only found a vague reference to it once, and then it was in a category of "common misspellings" for another drug.
