VerifiedOmigosh, you have turned over every stone to find an answer to this agonizing problem. I do not recommend taking more Ativan, because as a benzodiazepine it is addicting, and you may well develop a tolerance to it, meaning you will need to take more and more to get the same relief.
It sounds like your circadian rhythm is disturbed and I wonder if Melatonin might help you. If you have already tried it as well as herbs and other sleep aids, I think it is time for a sleep study with a sleep disorder specialist. If you live near Denver or Colorado Springs, the local hospitals can do a sleep study for you and find out if you have apnea, or something else going on.
I wish I had a magic cure for you, but you have tried everything I would suggest. I think it is time to take a deeper look and find out what is going on with your brain. You need and deserve to get a good night's sleep.
