Resolved Question:

Scenario: child had to be called 5 times to come to table & eat before school. He would not come. His younger brother told him that he would eat it if he didn't. younger brother ate. the child threw a tantrum. this child hears perfectly. this child has a hisorty of lying, acusing others of hiding or stealing his belongings when he misplaces them, stealing, physical abuse toward younger siblings, teasing, not tolerating correction from parents or teachers, disrespecting & back talk/cursing at parents, does not respect the rights of others. He is also overly sensitive when other children playfully chide him (this made him a target for teasing on the bus). He rocks back & forth on the couch and hums loudly to himself as if in his own little world.

Thanks for using Just Answer.

My suggestion is to have him evaluated by a child Psychologist who specializes in Autism Spectrum Disorders. He may not have any of the disorders in this category, but you want to rule it out.

This behavior is of great concern and will begin to severaly impact hsi social and emotional growth.
