This is a pretty large amount of Xanax to be withdrawing from and my guess is that you would experience some uncomfortable side-effects from it. I would suggest that, if you plan to do this at home, you do so only with the knowledge and approval from your prescribing physician (as he/she would be the one you would go to if the withdrawal process didn't go well) and that you also have somebody at home with you during this process to help you manage your symptoms.
