Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing this yourself? What have you tried so far?

Yes. It had a code for egt #3 open and defualting to 32 degrees I changed the sensor it now matchs the other 2. EGTs. Cleared codes with factory passwords but logged event code c3719-0 soot load percent high keeps coming back. Figured it would go away after a succesful regen but can't get that far.

Sorry to hear you're having these troubles with your truck. 3711 31 is active regeneration inhibited or stopped resulting from low exhaust temperature. Check your air supply to the ARD head for any leaks.is not uncommon for a leaking mass airflow sensor or faulty mass airflow sensor giving false readings to the ECM. Check for plugged filter fittings located in the fuel manifold on top of the engine. This is very common for these to become clogged restricting fuel delivery. A faulty ARD heador restrictions of fuel to the ARD head are also common failures causing this fault.I would start by checking for both of these. If all of this checks out good, you could potentially also need a software update to your ECM software. It is a pleasure to help anyway I can.
