My 99 7500 started...

My 99 7500 started running bad then stopped running at all it seems like it is not getting fuel to the injectors it has fuel pressure on the line

It is a 3126 cat I noticed when I us the primer pump it builds up pressure then losses it right away

There is a fuel check valve on the rear of the head. If this stays open it will stop the fuel pressure from building to a level to keep the unit running. These are a common item to change. Sometimes they will seat and then when they open they may stick and cause a condition like this. I would also check and make sure you do not have any air ingestion issues on the suction side of the chassis as well. Try running the engine out of a bucket directly at the fuel inlet in order to isolate the truck from the issue. I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any further questions on this.
