Truck is over heating...

Truck is over heating only on the uphill climb radiator and thermostat are not the issue they were replaced over a year ago with no change with issue. Good compression no oil or coolant loss at all

Mechanic's Assistant: OK. Are you fixing your truck yourself? What have you tried so far?

Removing retro fit dpf. Tune up oil change coolant change and flush new oil cooler new injectors

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the truck mechanic to know before I connect you?

Yes once boost pressure hits 30 psi oil temp hits 240 then pyro temp hits 875-900 and in a short time coolant temp climbs to 225 but if I keep the turbo boost pressure below 15 psi coolant temp drops to under 205

Welcome to Just Answer, I'm Chris (aka-Moose). I've been an independent contractor here for 13 years, and have gotten pretty good at diagnosis & repair sight unseen. However, I'm not good at sympathy through a keyboard. I do care about you, your vehicle's issues, and the funds you're spending, just not good at showing it. Sometimes I respond above your skill level, am to blunt or rough around the edges, just let me know so I can help you best to your and my ability. I am most often online central time 11-3 midday and 8-3 at night.

Can I get the year, make, model, and engine?

Hi, my name is ***** ***** Heavy-duty truck expert. Let's start from the begin. By looking at what you have going on is a flow issue. One place to check and is common on these is the oil cooler not cooling the engine oil and causing the engine overheating. That's is one issue next are a few others you will need to check. between the a/c condenser, the air charged cooler, and radiator the fins get clogged with dirt and you have an airflow issue. Lastly, pick your self up a laser thermometer and trace the system with it to see where the heat difference is which will help you in determining your cooling issue

Oil cooler was replaced a little over a year ago along with the radiator and it didn’t make a difference. The sensors were replaced during the same time. The temperature seems to be originating from the turbos with so much that they have turned a pinkish color. I should add that the turbos are the original ones that came with the truck
