2004 cat acert c15...

2004 cat acert c15 Diesel engine over heats only when boost pressure reaches over 30 psi with light loads and 17 psi with heavy loads. No coolant loss or oil. Compression is good on all cylinders. Will not heat up in heavy traffic. Engine has about a 20% of power loss in the uphill climb only and also low boost pressure turbo has a weird pink color to it. Coolant system and tuneup have been done with no difference at all. Can anyone help solve this annoying issue

I would suspect the radiator. When they begin to get plugged. They begin to overheat at high loads.Please reply back if you need more help. I am happy to assist.

After it reaches 225 temp if you pull over and rev the engine to about 1700 rpms it cools down to 175 in about a minute plus the oil is the first to start heating up to about 240Plus the radiator is about a year old

Yeah that sounds like a plugged radiator. It could be a faulty thermostat. Rare but possible. I’d change the thermostat first.

The entire coolant system has been redone last year with no difference along with the oil cooler

I should also add that the engine was overhauled about 350 thousand miles ago. It has the retro fit dpf filter and that is when the over heating issue started but only in the summer and with steep hill climb but now its with any hill the boost pressure hits 30 psi. The dpf filter was bypassed but no difference with the overheating
