Working on a Tico yard mule with cummins power... vin

Working on a Tico yard mule with cummins power... vin *****************
Low power... previous tech diag was replace turbo... I don't agree.
Began with faults 1887 (active), 1921, 2639, 4143 (inactive). Drove truck and verified low power JPro main page said not in derate mode, however after driving faults became 1887, 1922, 3748, 4143 (all active) and fault code said it IS in derate… also 1921 & 2639 (inactive).
Performed a reset and attempted a regen went well for about 20 minutes then regen canceled and faults 1887, 2639 (active)… there were several others, however my camera was out of focus when I took pics of screenshot.
I noticed during regen the diff pressure was up to 2.47 psi (seems high to me) and I seem to remember the def out temp was climbing past 1200*. Also unit was only showing 2.6 MPG on fuel consumption. Customer complaint along with low power was smoke into cab... seemed to be typical smoke seen when regenning... ie: heat off the regen cooking / burning and baking...

4143 Aftertreatment 1 Outlet Soot Sensor - Voltage Above Normal, or Shorted to High Source

When looking at those faults together, I would thoroughly inspect your wiring harness to your sensors for any shorts or corrosion or damage. If the wiring checks okay, I would go with a replacement NOx sensor as it could be a faulty sensor itself. Also the outlet soot sensor circuit has a problem with either the wiring or the sensor. Then I would try to reset the system manually and perform a successful regeneration . It's a pleasure to help anyway I can.

Have you run into the fuel injector spraying too much fuel or too often? The 2.6mpg jumped out at me like a sore thumb. Wondering if too much fueling causing a soot buildup (restriction) and cascading faults...?

That could be a possibility you have an injector problem or if you find that your doser injector has a problem in the aftertreatment system it could cause problems with your aftertreatment system if your Doser injector is over fueling. If the turbo is working properly and actuator, check for excessive so to build up in your EGR system as well which could cause or mileage and improper operation of your EGR system.

I was curious as to soot sensor location... is there another name it could be called by? Job is up in air now... just learned previous tech with turbo diag is now there with new turbo... I believe he is going to be sorely disappointed. Passed it on to my contact guy... oh well was attitude?.... what are you gonna do?

On the aftertreatment system there should be one before the DPF and catalyst on the inlet and then on the outlet to measure it on the outlet side as well.

Your NOx sensor on the inlet and then the one on the outlet checks for inlet and outlet gases.
