Hello and thank you for using Just Answer. My name isSteve and I will be assisting you with your question. Make sure you check the battery connection on the one fuse holder as well as the ground. These are the smaller wires. Also check to see once the key is turned off if you hear the x-y run thru it’s calibration.

The trans service info can be found here. This will have the troubleshooting info for this trans along with the wiring info. The trans gets its main power right from the batteries. Then follows up over top of the frame and direct to the trans ecm on the d.s. of the trans. I am sure that there is faults present in the trans which sometimes they do not show up thru the dash due to this being a vendor trans. Please let me know if you have any follow up questions on this. Hello, I'm at the truck. I changed fuses on battery cables. Put new o-ring on the white n red wires on the battery cables. Now I'm getting a fault MID 144 PSID 230 FMI 5. Tuck still won't come out of 2 gear.

That fault is for an open circuit in the power supply. This could have happened if the key was left on when the fuses were messed with. There will be 2 fuse holders on this truck. The one with the fabric tape around the wiring will be for the vecu (mid 144) and the plastic wire loom will be for the transmission.

The fuses would be the three on the battery cables and the other fuses would been in the dash?

No, There is none in the dash for that part of the supply system
