Unfortunately you will need to stay with the 2ws for the block. 2ws was the last of the 3406E’s and was the beginning of the Adem 3 ecm that’s 70 pin.

The 5ek and 1lw have small differences in the threaded holes for several attachments. I’m sorry I can’t remember exactly but I have had this come up a few times over the years. I believe it’s with the ecm mount and oil cooler. They will not line up.
The cranks for the 5ek and 1lw should work fine. Just not the blocks.
