Is the the high pressure turbo shaft supposed to be real hard to turn by hand or is it supposed to turn freely like the low pressure one
The turbo should turn freely and there shouldn't be much side to side play nor should it contact the housing and the compressor wheel should be free from damage

Got the new turbo on the truck will start after long crank and idle fine good throttle response no active codes but it will only stay running for a few mins and then slowly starts idling down and down and down until stalls out
If you have low ICP pressure or injection control pressure you will have extended crank times and if the injection control pressure is not low but the sensor is reading wrong due to either a wiring or a faulty ICP sensor then that can also cause extended crank times. Another cause of ICP pressure issues are a faulty IPR valve or actual leaks in the high pressure rail. A faulty high pressure pump can cause that as well.

I don’t access to a scan tool to read any of these pressures I took of valve cover checked o rings they looked good not tore up or anything do u think a icp sensor would let it idle for a few mins then die and what’s ipr, I’m not real sure where to go now I was hoping I would find a busted o ring but not the case what would u recommend

I still have valve cover off haven’t put it back together what else can I check inside there? Do u think it would be good to just replace that ipc sensor
If you have a shop air compressor try pressurizing the ICP sensor port this will let you know if you find any air leaks around the O-rings Etc. I'm mobile for the evening as I'm away but I will Be on off-and-on tomorrow for any follow-ups. Also if you don't have a scan tool if you can come up with a 5000 PSI gauge see what the pressure is at the ICP sensor Port you should be seeing somewhere around 870 PSI while cranking. Another thing to try is to try to start it with the ICP sensor unplugged. If you have at least eight 70 PSI while cranking then you can put 12 volts at the IPR valve which will put it into full pressure and you should read up to around somewhere around 4000 PSI for a good pump as long as you've confirm there's no leaks first otherwise your readings won't be accurate.
