I took it to a international dealer and they only connected the computer and did minimal mechanical tests and said it was was the water separator assembly that wasn't producing enough fuel pressure. The replaced the assembly with new filters and there's no change

ok but when you first start the truck it has good power

then once it warms up a bit you lose power

It seems like a lot of owners with maxxforce engines are complaining about the same thing so it seems like a common problem

for the first 5 to 10 minutes and then it can't go over 58-60 mph and little hill with empty truck it drops down to 35-45 mph

The boost is 40+psi the first 5 to 10 minutes. Every time i shut it off it gives me 5-10 mins normal performance and then derates

could be something with the EGR valve or exhaust back pressure valve, or maybe something with the ACV its has to be a electronic

The dealer only hooked up the computer to get the codes and ran a pressure test with the water separator filter assembly and said it was the assembly that wasn't provided enough pressure so they changed the whole assembly with the new filters. But no change

because the dealer said to keep it in and said that they wanted to to do a proper diagnosis to see if things are working and plus he said it will keep on throwing a engine light and I may not be able to know if the engine is having a problem

wel if you have low boost, it could be the EGR valve staying open, or something with the ACV valve which controls the turbo and the exhaust back pressure valve

Hi Alex! So the dealer pulled 2 more new codes 3055- 15 and 3055- 0. Just after hooking up the computer and without the 0-60 snap test. He's saying that it's the pump. Now I'm starting to feel that they just want through parts at to make money.
