Hi there . My name is ***** ***** How was engine performance when the dpf light was solid ? Good and strong ? If so, I would start by checking the wiring to the sensors at the after treatment. Particularly the dpf pressure sensor .

Hi there. Sorry for the delay . Checking now....

Your ECM calibration is current and up to date.

Is the unit requesting frequent parked regens ? Typically , this is caused by leaks in the exhaust before the turbos, or leaks in the charge air system somewhere before the intake.

Yep i do twice a day and i still got the solid or flashing light
I might have to clean the doc dpf first, changing the sensors, i appreciate ur inputServicemaxx doesnt show any codes, i even did 2 forced regens

Do you know what temperature the last 2 temp sensors are getting to ? Are they reaching 1000 F ?

Hi andy we checked the sensors and the temp doesnt go to 1000 so we are still looking especially the wiring, it goes up but not enough thanks for the ideas appreciate itAndy do you know by vin if i still got warranty? Thanks

Ok so now we need to find out why . Two things you can do :

1. wait til morning after truck sat and cooled down all night . Then connect to it and before starting it , check all the temp sensor readings. They should all be reading close to what your current ambient temperature is in your area . If one of them is way out , suspect that temp sensor and replace.

2. pulled the aftertreatment injector out of the pipe to inspect and clean the end of the injector as it may be plugged up and no longer able to spray . You also want to inspect the hole in the pipe that the dose sits in as sometimes it gets caked over with heavy soot buildup too preventing it from spraying fuel into the exhaust to raise the exhaust temperatures. Once clean , re-install and try another regen. You may have to drain the coolant to pull the injector .
