Hi and welcome to Just answer! My name is ***** ***** I can help you today.

based on your explanation can you tell me is this an air engaged, or electric, or mechanical lever?

Is the PTO run off of the front of engine, or side of transmission?

any information will help but it seems like we should be starting with the PTO as the source of your problem.

hoping with a bit more information I can point you in the right direction.
