Hi my name is***** will be glad to try to help. What is the model and serial number information from the ID tag off of the unit so I know exactly which APU you have
That is actually SBY for standby mode.
Optional Standby OperationThe optional TriPac HMI Controller Standby Mode allows thesystem to be controlled by an external source which is typicallythe truck’s ignition system. This is used to disable the TriPacsystem when the truck’s engine is running. The display willshow “Sby” when the controller is in this mode. DuringStandby mode the controller is temporarily disabled and noneof the TriPac systems will operate. Voltage sensing and theoptional coolant temperature sensing functions are alsodisabled while in this mode.
Options Used With Standby OperationStandby Truck IntegrationWhen the truck’s ignition switch is in the Off or Accessoryposition, the TriPac APU will operate normally if the APUEngine On/Off switch and the TriPac HMI Controller MainPower Key are On. If the truck’s ignition switch is in the Onposition, the TriPac HMI Controller will be forced to StandbyMode.Truck Integration SelectorSwitchWhen the dash mounted Truck IntegrationSelector Switch is in the Normal position, the TriPac APU will operate the same aswith Standby Truck Integration above. However, if the dash mounted SelectorSwitch is in the Standby position, the APUwill be forced to Standby mode
