broken tie rod on 5600 left rear. broken at upper ball joint. How do I remove from ram
JA: What is the complete model and serial number of your machine?
Customer: don't have serial number handy but it is a 2008 toolcat 5600
JA: Are you fixing this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: the tie rod snapped rite at ball joint and again at adjustment where it screws in to lower joint. Im 200 miles from a dealer so yes ill have to fix it
JA: Anything else you want the equipment mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: socrewed boken piece and pulled c v boot off

Need to know how to unbolt broken one from ram. Is it strap wrench on ram and 1 1/4 wrench on ball joint

yes that is correct, and also count the turns when

you back it out, so you know how many turns to put it in

may need a little heat on this to get it loosened

also my need a Pipe wrench with a rag wrapped around the Ram

to get it broken loose
