I have a 2000 Volvo with a n14 Cummings. My oil pressure and temp gauges are fluctuating like crazy, my amber caution light is on, my red stop light is coming on and off, and I'm getting no power in 9th gear.

Check the actual oil pressure with a mechanical guage to see if there is an actual problem with low or fluctuating oil pressure.

It could be oil pump, suction tube sucking air ( damaged/cracked), oil filter bypass valve or pressure regulator.
