I have a 4mg 425 wich is best fuel/water seperator to use

Customer Question

I have a 4mg 425 wich is best fuel/water seperator to use the(###) ###-####or(###) ###-####
JA: What is the complete model and serial number of your machine?
Customer: 8tc11182 3406b
JA: Are you fixing this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: My local cat dealer said that the fw seperator for that engine number is ***** from the 133 but they didnt have one in stock so he said the 133 is whst they pur on c15 c16 so should be fine but im pretty pedantic with this stuff coz its obviously different for a reason and in a certain way n a c15 drawing fuel through the primary would be a different ball game than a 425b
JA: Anything else you want the equipment mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No

Thanks for asking your question. I will try and help you out.
Both of these fw separators will work. The only difference is the micron rating.
The 133 for C15 engines is a 10 micron filter. The 175 is a 20 micron.
The 133 is better as it takes out smaller dirt. However it will clog sooner than the 175.Please reply back if you need more help or have more questions. I am happy to assist.
