The DPF was baked (cleaned) i guess that what baking means if that is right?

baking is an extra step in the cleaning process done when cleaning the DPF with the air cleaner does not clean it enough to pass the flow test so yes it has been cleaned, was the DOC baked as well?

How often does the DPF regenerate on the International MF 13 ?

one a day is considered normal

I didn't see the rest of you previous answer. What is the Doc?

Oh i didnt see you ask what the doc was, the DOC is the Diesel oxidation catalyst. it is before the DPF in the syatem and is what creates the heat to turn the soot in to ash in the DPF

Ok I will have to ask the dealer

yeah if you are running hard with a good load on you really shouldnt ever have to do a parked regen, but if its stop and go or light loads it will build up

This weekend some how the petcock on the radiator got open, the next morning my man went to start the truck an engine warn light came on and it shut down. They filled with radiator back up, ran fine after that but engine warn light is still on and looks like a code 88 comes up on the dash. Wondering how to clear the code?
