Hi I'm Wayne

I will try to help you with this

look for melted wires at the fuse box, and at the circuit breakers in the battery box

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I cannot see any melted wires
Expert:  Wayne replied 1 year ago.

Thank you for that

normally that is the cause

the other is a faulty IGN switch, keeping current going

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Ignition switch, as in the key switch?
Expert:  Wayne replied 1 year ago.

Here is an update. Two fuses in the batter box were blown. Replaced them now when turn the ignition switch on I hear the lift pump turn on for a split second then everything turns off. Engine will not crank either. Fuses are not blown again, but when I turn the ignition on nothing happens. Have disconnected the batteries for 5 minutes with the same result.

Thank you for that

The fuses in battery box are for ECM, and power circuit to fuse box

so that is good we found this

OK, next step is you have a no crank, see what the voltage is at

starter before crank and during crank

let me know
