2600 Ford Diesel 8 speed the transmission oil is milky and it does not go in gear when running without grinding and clutch does not stop it from moving. I have to take it out of gear to stop movement. If I change the fluid how many quarts does it take.

Yes change the fluid in the trans that will cause the issues you are having

milky color (water) trans holds 13.8 qts Hyd 16.5 gals
