JA: We'll do all we can to help. Tell me a bit more about what's going on so the Heavy Truck Mechanic can help you best.
Customer: Temp climbs and will not come back down until parked. Oil temp and coolant temp both high.
JA: Is there anything else important you think the Heavy Truck Mechanic should know?
Customer: Yes the truck blow the top radiator hose off of the radiator. I put it back on and filled with water. left overflow cap lose. Drove less the five miles and the coolant temp was 235, oil temp 240. Engine oil black

Dd15, the check engine then the stop engine, then both start to flash

how hot did the truck get when the hose blew off??? did it shut off itself??

did you have the system pressure tested??? I would be looking for a head gasket leak either external or internal.
