94year kw T600 engine cummins engine #11719818 N14-350E what psi does the fuel be at no no
Expert:  spankyjr1 replied 1 year ago.

Thanks for info

Fuel pressure to start engine is only about 20 psi but as you raise rpm and put a load on engine fuel pressure will increase to over 150 psi.

What kind of fuel pressure do you have?

Any exhaust smoke and what color?

Does engine sound smooth when running or sound as if it has a miss?

What was original issue before replacing Engine position sensor?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
psi is 140 at idle no smoke what so ever sounds good till it starts to die then it suppers about 2 r 3 times and dies same thing

pull fuel check valve out of ecm cooling plate, it's the front fitting, it probably came apart or has some junk in it

It's also possible you are getting compression in fuel system from a sticking injector check valve but normally you get a miss when that happens

If you think its a power issue check to make sure you are NOT loosing power to shutdown solenoid when it dies

if you are loosing power re check for codes using cruise switches, if you don't know how let me know

let me know codes

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
it don't and if ur asking if it looses volts at the selnioe it does back in forth then dies it has 12v. or better when running
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I have no way of getting codes
Expert:  spankyjr1 replied 1 year ago.

Then it does have a code if you are loosing power to solenoid here is how to get codes

Use the following procedure to retrieve the flash codes from the check engine light:
Turn the ignition key switch to the On position/ Engine OFF.
Turn the cruise control ON/OFF switch to the OFF position.
Move the SET/RESUME switch to either position. Hold that position until the yellow lamp begins to flash.
The yellow lamp will flash in order to indicate a three digit flash code and the SET/RESUME switch may be released.
The sequence of flashes represents the system diagnostic message. Count the first sequence of flashes in order
to determine the first digit of the flash code. After a two second pause, the second sequence of flashes will identify
the second digit of the flash code, then the third
Any additional flash codes will follow after a longer pause.
It will keep repeating codes until you turn off key.
Any questions just let me know.

Expert:  spankyjr1 replied 1 year ago.
