Customer Question

my NPR TRUCK , 1999,M.D. NPC7SC. VIN XJ003233,ENGIN, engine L31, trans MT1
There was a tire blow out , the engine continued to run until it was turned off for
45 minutes. this problem has continued several days. to start it I run it on carb cleaner
for about one half hour, then it slowly is able to run on its own. it seems to have
adequate power and will start again if not too much time elapsed between. the blow out
disturbed parts around the front left wheel. It knocked the plastic box that has the
starter relay and what else?

Do you hear electric fuel pump running? If fuel pump is ok, then you may have a pin hole in fuel line. Are there any fuel lines that could ave been hit? Sounds like there is no fuel being pumped to the injection pump.
