2005 peterbilt 387 clutch wont release
I replaced the clutch cable
could the clutch pedal have slipped a spline?

Hi i'm Wayne

I will help you with this

did this happen after the cable was replaced ??

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

No the problem happened then i replaced the cable because the clevis and pin showed excessive wear. But the clutch still does not release

Thank you for that

can you look in the inspection hole

while someone push clutch, to see if the fingers are moving

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Yes i did that they move but not enough to release the clutch

Unless i move the arm a little more than the cable does

Thank you for that

did you adjust the clutch internally

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Tried but it doesn't release enough to adjust with the pedal all the way on the floor

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

I tried to but with the pedal all the way to the floor it is still not released enough to adjust

You can not have pedal to floor

must be 2" off floor or the clutch brake is on

I hope this helped you
