I have a Detroit 60 series 12.7 liter and we have a dead

Customer Question

I have a Detroit 60 series 12.7 liter and we have a dead accelerator. Already replaced the throttle positioning censor what else can I do. Can't seem to find any shorts in the wiring.
JA: We'll do all we can to help. Tell me a bit more about what's going on so the Heavy Equipment Mechanic can help you best.
Customer: Not sure what else to say - it's a dead throttle you can't run it up with the cruise
JA: Is there anything else important you think the Heavy Equipment Mechanic should know?
Customer: We have been tracing wires to see if we can find a bare wire but haven't found one yet
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Heavy Equipment Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.
