Hello, I have a 2006 GMC 7500 that is having an ABS issue. It has hydraulic brakes. I have hooked my scanner up and got the code c0550 ecu malfunction. I have recently installed a new ecu but I am having the same issue. can you assist me on the next steps I need to take. thank you1GDJ7C1CX5F901189

Hi my name is***** the module is new and programmed correctly then take a very close look at the wiring harness and connector pins for corrosion or damage and check your powers and grounds for the ECU.If that checks okay you likely have an issue with the new ecu. Try reprogramming and updating the software to see if it will reset and the problem resolves. Let meknow

Hi, The first link I posed. Go to PDF pages 170- 175. the brake section is in there. The fuse and ignition circuit diagrams are in there as well.
