It's been like this for almost a year but thought I'd look into it some more now. We changed the VPOD a while back to try and help.

he is familiar.
Expert:  roybelding replied 1 year ago.

ok, what are the codes

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
What do you mean? The codes are:
MID 128 SID 147
FMI 2 AND FMI 12
Expert:  roybelding replied 1 year ago.

ok, they are codes for vane failures in the turbo. it is either the actuator or the turbo itself.

have you verified the v pod is working?? connector on top is common for failing

Roy

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
That's the first thing we changed when this started happening! Is there a procedure for testing the actuator? If I recall, the actuator is a separate component on the Detroits as opposed to my Cummins.
Expert:  roybelding replied 1 year ago.

it is on the turbo. air is provided from the v pod to the actuator upon acceleration. when you rev the engine the actuator should move. your mechanic should be able to check that
