I have a 2001 journey dl rv in a repair shop. the major problem

Customer Question

i have a 2001 journey dl rv in a repair shop. the major problem is with the dash air pressure gages. in several years of ownership one gage always has pumped up pressure with no trouble, but the other has always been erratic jumping in 3 seconds from zerp to 140 lbs and constantly buzzing a warning. in spite the rv always seemed to stop safetly. question does the rv have two completly independent systems for pumping and storage of pressure or is it shared? for a simple diagnosis is it possible to just swap the hook ups to the gages to see if the problem may be with the gage. the repair shop has ordered two new tanks as a fix. they said a rust problem is the culprit.

What kind of chassis is the RV sitting on? Freightliner?
